Aims
Students acquire the skills and knowledge concerning communication within the professional fields of film and theatre composition and the musicians at ArtEZ. Building networks with musicians, composers and the film/theatre industries.

This module relates mainly to the Composition Projects and the Traineeship.
Content
Lessons based on the topics listed under Aims, as well as assignments based on the materials discussed, complemented by lectures and workshops about various professional domains.

In-class exercises and presentations and written assignments.
Criteria
The completed assignments demonstrate that students have sufficiently mastered the different elements and are able to discuss them adequately.
Pass requirements
The student has completed this module if all assignments are completed and graded "satisfactory", and the student has engaged in active participation.
Examination procedure
Completed assignments must be handed in for evaluation via e-mail, while presentations are given in class. Assignments are assessed by the teacher.
Tests conducted online are valid only if it is done without interruption. The assessor will decide whether or not the test was valid.
Resit options
Module summary
Communication with a variety of cross-discipline partners as well as other composers within the fields of film and theatre composing is taught in this module. Having guests over for this module is also conceivable, for instance that students visit a festival or contact a composer and make a report of that meeting.
