Content
Finding a suitable studio location in the field of music production like: film music production, commercial production, production music, game music, recording arts, or in the field of music theatre (for students who focus on theatre rather than film).
Working within the studio location or theatre in a daily process like producing, writing or promoting music.
Preparing and evaluating weekly internship activities.
Writing structured plans and reports focused on production processes, creative processes and communication strategies.
Writing a final evaluation where the trainee comments on their own learning process.
Writing and handing in a completed report of the traineeship.
Completing an interview with Traineeship teacher about experiences and lessons learned during Traineeship.

Internship-related assignments; verbal and written feedback; reports.
Criteria
Successful completion of all practical and written assignments. The student has demonstrated a capacity for self-criticism. The student has demonstrated insight and creativity in finding ways to improve their own abilities. The observed trainee activities show adequate progress.
Pass requirements
The student has completed this module if all three assessors* have given a passing grade (5,5 or above as average).
*Traineeship host, Traineeship teacher, Second Traineeship evaluator
Examination procedure
Practical assignments and tasks related to the specific internship are evaluated by the Traineeship host throughout the internship.
At the end of the course: A) the Traineeship host; B) the Traineeship teacher; and C) a second Traineeship evaluator assess the traineeship experience based on the reflective report and interview of the student, as well as on feedback and the necessary documentation from the Traineeship host.
Resit options
In the case of a failing grade, the student will be required to find and complete an alternative Traineeship assignment.
Module summary
Students develop a practical insight towards their own professional career. An important part of the traineeship assignment is completing a number of assignments focusing on production, workflow and communicational skills.
